2nd International Epigenetics Congress Draws Attention with Forward-Thinking Topics and Distinguished Guests

The human genome mapping that began in the 1990s was completed in 2003, triggering major changes in the medical world. It was understood that the fundamental reason why not every treatment method produces the best results for every patient lies in the differences related to our genes. Scientists not only began examining our genetic codes but also started investigating the effects of environmental factors on our genes. The 2nd International Epigenetics Congress, where the potential predispositions of our genes are discussed to enable the continuation and protection of healthy living, took place last weekend.

The congress, organized under the auspices of the Nutrigenetics and Epigenetics Society at the Ottoman Archives Compound of the State Archives of the Turkish Republic Presidency, adopted this year's main theme: "Precision Medicine in Personalized Treatment of Complex Chronic Diseases - From Genetics to Epigenetics." The congress featured the latest developments in epigenetics and brought together the most successful experts in the field.

Infinity Regenerative Clinic Medical Director Spec. Dr. Yildıray Tanriver Shared His Experience and Insights in Genetics and Epigenetics

Spec. Dr. Yildıray Tanriver, Medical Director of Infinity Regenerative Clinic, which provides personalized treatment and applications, participated in the congress attended by numerous academics, clinicians, and students from various fields including medicine, pharmacy, molecular biology/genetics, bioinformatics, and biostatistics. Dr. Tanriver, who conducts research in genetics and epigenetics, presented two lectures based on his research, patient experiences, and applications currently being implemented at Infinity Regenerative Clinic. On the first day of the event, Dr. Tanriver gave a presentation on "Microbiome in Cancer and the Relationship between Oxidative Stress, Inflammation, and Aging."

Following the highly interesting first day, on the second day of the congress, Dr. Tanriver spoke in a presentation titled "What Preventive Measures Should Be Taken in Public Health?" with Assoc.
